Sources of funding and fees vary by institution.

Texts, Contexts, Cultures candidates may be able to apply for Irish Research Council in the Humanities and Social Sciences funding. They may also apply for alternative funding from their institution of registration.

Presently there are two funded PhD scholarships available at the Moore Institute, NUI Galway. Further details are available here.
